Tyler Quill’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Power of the Dog is the kind of movie that spends most of its time setting the stage for everything to come together at the end, and then have you theorizing what it all means afterwards. The performances here are nothing short of fantastic. As you’re watching, you become so enamored by the world building that you’re along for the ride no matter what, they really nail a western here without going overboard. Hoping this will get the recognition it deserves come award season, but ultimately at the end of the day, it’s a great western adventure with memorable characters and storytelling.
