  honestly a knockout. felt like a love letter to south london in the way that 40yr old version was to harlem. so much so vibrant and quirky, with genuine heart.
  also the token white girl was called cass and i've never felt more seen. great soundtrack too.

  literally the sexiest killer ever in a slasher, i was on edge the whole time ;)
  also you could just feel that this was made by a woman. carlota pereda loudly and proudly explored autonomy, acceptance, and the powerful craving for someone that unabashedly protects and celebrates you, in a world that constantly shames and alienates your body for its differences.
  also gorgeously lit and framed in 4:3, and just so much fun.
