Travis Danner’s review published on Letterboxd:
I have almost nothing to compare this to, truly unique.
Doesn’t really work for me as horror as it isn’t the least bit scary, but as surreal comedy-drama of repressed homosexuality with horror elements, it bangs. Definitely ranks high on the drunkest movies I’ve ever seen scale.
Looks stunning, the dialogue is old timey perfection and the sound design is kinda remarkable — for a small-scale movie about two dudes livin’ la vida lighthouse, its so fucking loud.
Really enjoyed this, goddamn FAHTS and all.
