frustrating! it was well shot and well acted, and fans of farm animals are sure to love the first hour, but the script is seriously lacking. this movie has literally one idea and takes almost two hours to finish incoherently rambling about it. Is it a biblical analogy? an environmentalist/animal rights message? a really lackluster horror folktale? who knows, i just wish this would have been more.

as things stand, this would have been a banger short film and i’m sad they spent extra time and extra money to rob us of that.
