Exactly what I wanted from this. Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara's leading performances mix effortlessly with Mr. Haynes meaningful direction of the camera. The thing I loved about it most? It's not so in your face about it being a romance, instead opting for a slow-burn of fleeting glances and ephemeral love. Not to mention, that warm, fuzzy feeling goes great with the Christmas setting.
