Carey Mulligan deserves just as much hype for awards season as any of the other women nominated and that's a fact.
While this is a major slow burner, I adored this a lot. Wish Jake could have been in it more, but Mulligan and Ed Oxenbould make up for it tenfold. The family drama here is so raw, and having lived in an area affected by major wildfires myself, let's just say it hit really close to home for me. I kinda wanna read the novel now.
