Taylor Genovese’s review published on Letterboxd:
Well, you are either on the same wavelength as David Lynch or you aren't. Fortunately, I am definitely a fan of Lynch and this film contained a beautiful mixture of comedic, dramatic and downright dark moments that I look forward to seeing when I watch a David Lynch film.
I'm still trying to process this film but I had so much fun experiencing Wild at Heart that I can't help but give it a good rating. Nicolas Cage provides ultimate proof that he is a deity. The spontaneous front flip out of a convertible in order to begin moshing in the middle of the desert to radio station metal was an amazing scene to behold. And it was only one of many.
Now...I just have to find me a snakeskin jacket...
