    Season of the Witch

First of all, the forgot to add horror and mystery in the genre of this film...
Secondly, it wasn't that bad. Nic Cahe and Ron Perlman were both terrific in it, and Claire Foy's performance was really good.
Perhaps, some parts were dragging, and I personally didn't see why the British cast in it needed to change their accents.

But the action was good, the scares were decent, and that last minute twist - didn't see that coming!

So to all the haters; lighten up! It's October, and this film deserves to be in the list of spooky films before and/or on Halloween.

  • The Case of the Whitechapel Vampire

The Case of the Whitechapel Vampire

    Very spooky!
Matt Fewer made a good Sherlock Holmes.

  • Monster House

    Monster House

An animated movie that can still make you jump.
Monster House is a suitable film for Halloween.

  • Abominable

Abominable was a beautifully made animation filled with magic, adventure and family. It was like every fantasy in your imagination came to life.

Plus, I felt this film was loosely similar to How to train your Dragon because both storylines begin with a kid who finds and befriends a mysterious creature.
And Chloe Bennett was terrific among the voice cast, and it was a true respect to Asian culture.

Abominable is the best animated movie this year. Period.

  • The Batman vs. Dracula

    The Batman vs. Dracula

The man who dresses like a bat takes on the count who turns into a bat!

This may be the best top 10 match up in pop culture history!

And the climatic battle was just epic!
Though a vampire Joker was much worse than the original!

  • Frankenstein's Monster's Monster, Frankenstein

    Frankenstein's Monster's Monster, Frankenstein

What the fuck did I just watched!?
    That's 32 minutes I'm never getting back!

Still, at least this poster shows David Harbour doing his Hellboy pose!

  • The Spectacular Now

    The Spectacular Now

Exactly what the title says: SPECTACULAR.
Plus, Miles Teller was FANTASTIC and Brie Larson was MARVELous..
God, I can't stop with the puns!

  • Dog Soldiers

    Dog Soldiers

Could we focus on how cheesy with horror movie is?!
These soldiers are trapped in a cottage by werewolves (like the inbred family from Texas Chainsaw, if the patriarch of the family was Lon Chaney Jr) under a fullmoon, and the only thing they're all worried about is the England vs German match!

Noted though, the werewolves in it were scary as hell. And there's some action in it as well.
Just annoying though that a sequel was mentioned but never came to light.

  • Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

    Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

That would be cool if it was!

    Back to the film...
So many haters! I I for one actually liked it. Alright, granted the storyline was a bit rushed, but the action awesome.
Benjamin Walker was made for the role.

Plus, Linkin Park's Powerless makes this film perfect.

  • MacArthur

Gregory Peck's portrayal as MacArthur is outstanding. Truly outstanding. The film itself is remarkable.

I don't think there could ever be another biopic. But if there was, Michael Fassbender would be a suitable choice as the man himself!

  • Gemini Man

    Gemini Man

I understand why this film became a flop; parts of the de-aging CGI was shoddy, and the showdown at the end was anti-climatic.
But the action was good. It was clever though how they made Will Smith young (Fresh Prince young).

Though while it was nice to see Smith in his action element, I did thought halfway through the film if perhaps Tom Cruise or Keanue Reeves would've cated instead. Mostly Tom Cruise for me!

Other than that, it was a good film.

    Would You Rather

Now amount of money would make me do shit like that!
Seriously, who the f*** comes up with stuff?
