“We never live the same day twice”
Realistic viewing of family and business life in Taiwan. So real almost feels like a documentary in parts. Takes me a while viewing Asian flicks to figure out who is who, even though I’ve lived in Taiwan and my wife is Taiwanese. Not a whole lot of action or fast moving pieces in this 3 hour film but stirring nonetheless. “Sukiyaki Song” piano bar scene hilarious. Lots of gorgeous soliloquy shots. This film could’ve easily been cut down to 2 hours. Ending great.
