Tommy Truong’s review published on Letterboxd:
There is just so much to love about this film. The cinematography is breathtaking; there are many shots that had me astonished and amazed. The performances are great; Timothee Chalamet is Oscar-worthy and like with Robert Pattinson in this year's Good Time, I rarely watched anything featuring Armie Hammer (besides The Social Network and 2017's Free Fire) so I can never judge him as an actor and I can never understand the criticism towards his acting. Either way, he deserves the nomination for the 'Best Supporting Actor' Oscar. The direction was immaculate. This is a story that felt different in a unique way and I am always interested in watching something different.
This is a truly special film. It is about so many things like love, discovery, and importantly, courage. I really appreciated and loved this film and it is one of the best films of the year.
