Gotta make the most of my criterion channel subscription
The DVD I watched had the most busted-ass subtitles, truly reminiscent of the days of “TN: Keikaku means plan,” but this film doesn’t really need subtitles. Where I found Visitor Q and Ichi the Killer to be more boring than unnerving, the visuals and atmosphere of Audition really got to me. I get it. I get why people like Takashi Miike’s films now.
