Interstellar ★★★★★

Do not go gentle into that good night
Old age should burn and rave at close of day
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

A stunning visual realization of some of the most profoundly difficult-to-grasp scientific concepts known to mankind, that hinges meaningfully on a powerful force that can span infinite time and space. That powerful force, as the film instructs us, is not gravity, but love. It's a force that also turns out to be this film's secret weapon. Every precious shared moment between father and daughter, every anguished one-way transmission into the vastness of space, and every critical mission decision that drains the crew's most precious resource - time - felt absolutely momentous, affecting me even more now than it did the first, second, or third time I watched this modern masterpiece.

Boasting a cast with 6 Oscar-winners at their absolute peak, some truly masterful visual effects that never feel even a little bit fake, and a phenomenal Hans Zimmer score that stays with me for weeks every time I hear it... I'm just gonna say it. This - not The Dark Knight, not Inception - is Christopher Nolan's magnum opus (fight me). Very Highly Recommended.
