Don’t let the bright colors and beautiful cinematography fool you, this film is quite sad. Under proper circumstances I could have cried at the end.
The end, I appreciated the switch to iPhone. I understand he didn’t have permission to film in Disneyland or something like that, but the iPhone switch was cool. The music was lame and made it super corny, but it had heart.
Sean Baker is a filmmaker really using all his resources. I mean, he shot a whole film on an iPhone. That’s cool.
