Tumbletoppel’s review published on Letterboxd:
Incredible that Universal had not only the balls to rerelease one Steven Spielberg movie in the spectacular IMAX format, BUT TWO is truly astonishing. Like ET, it was so refreshing to see this on a big screen, because it still feels so brand new, and it may not help me to not pursue a swimming career actually…
Richard Dreyfuss was very good in this. He and Robert Shaw (unbelievable performance btw) were great together in this movie because of how Shaw was a prick at time on him on set. It helped when the two were going at it on film and it shows here
And Quint’s monologue = perfection
Thanks again Universal for your service. How about a Jurassic Park/Schindler’s List rerelease next year for both of their 30ths?
