The Kid Brother

The Kid Brother ★★★★

I don't find Lloyd to be as captivating as Chaplin or Keaton, but damn if he doesn't pull of some immensely heartfelt stories, which are easy to dive into and be compelled by. There are no particularly breathtaking stunts in this one, but there's plenty of spectacle with chases and moments of peril danger when Lloyd faces someone who's physically superior to him. The romance is easy to get into and the conflict it creates between Lloyd and his brothers makes for easily the best jokes in the movie.
