Tyler Ward’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not very many movies will make me say “Oh, what the fuck?” out loud in the theatre like this one did.
Just when you think you have this one figured out, it goes in a completely different direction. One of the better endings I’ve seen this year.
Also, that Icelandic scenery is both haunting and awe-inspiring at the same time.
Lamb isn’t a masterpiece or anything, but it’s definitely worth the watch; I promise it’s not what you’re expecting it to be.
Edit: After reading a few of my friends’ reviews, I feel like I should mention that I went into this with zero expectations and as someone who does not really watch horror movies. If you’re expecting to be scared shitless by this film, it isn’t going to happen. That’s a selling point for me; it may not be for you.
Aren’t the movies great?
