Tevan’s review published on Letterboxd:
I decided to watch this instead of getting in line to see "The Man who Killed DQ" in Terry Gilliam's presence. 100% worth it.
- Story, great.
- Acting, great.
- Cinematography, fucking amazing.
The film was based on a short, and is almost 2 and a half hours long. Some sequences sometimes go for a little too long, and you have to wait 2 hours to see the untying of all the mess that is happening.
But However, when shit goes down: it's really, really satisfying.
Also I 've heard that Steven Yeun decided to stop playing in The Walking Dead to do this movie. Fuck Yes, Glenn, Fuck Yes.
And also, also during the end of the screening an old woman's phone started to ring and she couldn't turn it off, so that was pretty annoying.
