    M. Night Shyamalan can go fuck himself. Denis Villeneuve is the king of plot twists

  • Alien

By far one of my favorite horror films and science fiction movies. It is a masterpiece in horror cinema and how to terrify an audience, create an inventive and original monster and to use inventive and new (at the time) techniques to unsettle your audience. It is also an incredible work of science fiction creating a believable futuristic world and using incredible special effects, props and set design to enrich and enhance the world

Music was good. It was fine but I’m not a big musical guy but I reckon if you like musicals you’ll like it. And obviously there is no point in me going over the logic and plot holes in this film seeing as it is a children’s musical

I actually loved this. Not Nolan’s best but I thought the idea and premise was incredible and a truly inventive spin on time travel that made sense and wasn’t all just mumbo jumbo. I don’t know why people aren’t enjoying this. The first act is very rough I will admit that with the protagonist kind of just going from place to place to meeting to meeting but around the second act the film really picks up in quality and pacing…

My god I love this movie

    The New Mutants

Ok there were a couple cool new ideas in here but the film just feels so basic to me. All the dialogue and characters feel unoriginal. The cgi looked nice in only a handful of shots and the story didn’t really try anything interesting or new which is something I was hoping this film would do. What I was happy about was that the gay relationship in the film wasn’t just used to promote diversity and was treated as no…

    The Devil All the Time

This has been getting mixed reviews for some reason but I actually really enjoyed it. It has a lot of faults yes. Some scenes don’t really serve any purpose and some arcs in the film should have been cut entirely because they don’t serve the overall narrative. That being said great performances all around. Tom Holland genuinely surprised me with his performance and has proved he can be more than just Spider-Man or the nervous dorky teen. The overall story…

    After We Collided

Wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Still not saying much. Also all the problems this couple has could be solved if they communicated and talked with one another instead of ignoring their issues and f**king. Plus for some reason this film is r rated and there is like two butt shots in the whole film and that’s the extent of the nudity which is a weird choice

The edits are so jarring and confusing my god. Chemistry between Lawrence and Smith is great though but yeah pretty mediocre film even if it does dish out some fun

  • Idiocracy

I actually really like the premise and world building of his film and there are some genuinely funny moments. But yeah it’s pretty dumb so don’t look into it too hard

    I'm Thinking of Ending Things

I just want to say straight off that Charlie Kaufman is my favorite writer of all time regardless of form. Weather that be movie, book or poem he is a genius and I don’t say that very often. However in my opinion this is the weakest in his works. Which is to say it is still amazing but it is flawed. The parts where they talk in the car although well written are by far the weakest parts in the…

  • Bo Burnham: What.

    Bo Burnham: What.

I am definitely a way bigger fan of his other special make happy but Bo is a very unique and talented comedian. While “what” perfectly describes what this is and all of Bo’s shows feel very random and disjointed this one feels even more insane than normal. It doesn’t have the same refinement as make happy but you can definitely see the early stages of Bo’s comedy. Basically what I’m saying was he is a great comedian but you can see this is a very early effort and isn’t as good as his later work
