One of the best Star Wars movies of all time. It can not be understated just how underrated this masterpiece of film is. If you separate it from the prequels, it is an amazing experience to just sit down and watch. The fact that any line of the movie could be instantly turned into a meme is not a flaw but rather a major benefit for this film. The hundreds of pop culture references to this movie make it not as forgettable as some of the other Star Wars movies such as Attack of the Clones, or Return of the Jedi. The climax of the entire Star Wars franchise occurs during this movie. The darkness that is displayed by Hayden Christianson makes his role in this movie unforgettable. His whiny attitude appears to not always be there, it separates from the previous movies. He truly did put his all into this movie. Many scenes from this movie can be watched and just appreciated on their own. And the Musical score is one of the best in the Star Wars Franchise. Some scenes like the march on the Jedi temple truly fill the audience with a sense of fear and pride at the same time. So many scenes in this movie leave a smile crawling across your face, especially te invasion of kashyyk. Over all, I would recommend this movie to anyone who has never watched Star Wars, or to any fans, please, rewatch this with a bag of popcorn and an open mind.
