i can’t believe the Godfather scene is real like it’s just perfect execution of an insane choice. also the depiction of sisterhood and oppression is almost enough to outweigh some of the ridiculous story elements and plot devices. the sex scenes and portrayal of lesbians definitely suffer from a male gaze, but still all the characters are complex women with complex desires and flaws.
