fucking fantastic, so many genius moves, but my favorite had to be the sound design during the moment when Hori’s on the roof. Sonically and based on the geography overlooking the water, he lures the audience into thinking it’s a ship’s horn, but then the reveal in the last act when we find out that sound is coming from a different and much more cathartic horn blast? And the emotional parallel of that with Hori on the roof, linking their respective unhappiness? Wow. Just…damn bro.
