I know that I’m probably going to see this film again sometime soon so I’ll formulate more coherent thoughts then, but for now I’m just gonna say HOOOOLY FUCKING SHIT
This film is fucking great, maybe a masterpiece, I’ll decide when I see it again.
Max Richter’s score is incredible and compliments the film really nicely. It’s very ambient and spacey most of the time, but can get loud and epic at certain moments, it’s just fucking great.
Also just give Hoyte Van Hoytema the Oscar already, this has easily some of my favorite cinematography of the year. The camera work, the colors, it’s just so damn great.
Also see this film in Dolby or IMAX because the scope of this film is incredibly epic and needs to be seen on a large screen.
