I knew that I knew nothing about him and now I am a bit smarter. Still, I think it was dragged out a bit too much for its short running time.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1974
I'm surprised how well this film still worked. For once I was really creeped out and not just tied up in a gloomy athmosphere.
It's a cult film that deserves its place, but then tapped me into one or two repetitive traps too much.

I am in love with every second of this film.
Robert Eggers is, for me, the best horror director of the 2000s. I'm happy every time I accidentally come across an interview with him. I'm happy every time I see a film with Anya Taylor-Joy and I'm also happy when I see the crew behind The Lighthouse at his first film. The VVitch.

I wanted to show it to my parents and then leave after the car scene but I really couldn't go. And that was at noon on a sunny day.
