Horror fan, highly caffeinated
I rented Brandon Cronenberg’s Possessor on Vudu. I went with the version that was specifically labeled uncut. The rental cost $5.99.
The movie features a high-concept plot about a body-snatchin’ assassin played by Andrea Riseborough (Mandy). Even before the title card flashes on screen, we get an opening sequence that gives us a taste of what Possessor is all about.

Suspiria (2018) is like a burrito that you put too much shit in and it rips open. Its two and a half hour runtime is excruciating.

I don’t even know where to begin with Pet Sematary (2019). It gets pretty much everything wrong. It is so miserably paced, it becomes just plain boring.
There are massive changes from the source material that seem to serve absolutely no purpose in the movie. I need to stress how gigantic and seemingly pointless these changes are.
