Austin Coates’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's official - Terrence Malick is growing on me enough to say his filmography is somewhat a prime time in cinema.
His style and direction is visually enticing and very engaging.
And as far as this film goes about a passionate romantic crime-filled drama taking place around the Texas Panhandle, this is a phenomenal film on the sound, visuals, characters, and the set designs. Nothing tickles my fancy more than shots where the sky meets land, painted with endless fields of tall grass and hay.
