Of course I had to celebrate the fifth of November. What's funny is that shortly before watching, I remembered that coincidentally, the US midterm elections are tomorrow. The state of our country may not be quite the dystopian England that is depicted in this movie, but the resemblance between our current administration's rise to power and that of the fictional chancellor's are frightening. I was able to vote early. If you are a citizen of the United States, you still have a chance to go out and vote tomorrow. Please do so.
