This was better than the original. I had a lot more fun. I didn't really like the first one. The ridiculous gore, the extra fun features, all of it just landed better for me here even if the end was a little ridiculous
August horror hunt day #2: Watch a film directed or written by a POC
This is a fantastically atmospheric melancholy horror. The feeling of loneliness and abandonment is so evident throughout, and though it's a slow story, it builds so well and I really enjoyed it. The ending had the closure I was looking for, and there were many moments that were tense and exciting. I don't think I'd regularly come back to it, but I'm very glad I watched it.

This is so unbelievably classic that it's actually funny. Bella Lugosi is the image that springs to mind when thinking of Dracula and there's a reason for it. I had a lot of fun with this, though the first two thirds were definitely my favourite.
