Coming-of-age teen school films that capture each generation/decade zeitgeist. I'm adding one film for each "generation".
The purpose of this list is to trace how much things have change culturally through the decades as well as how little things have also changed for teenagers generationally, about their interests and wants.
You can read the notes to see which generation each film supposedly portraits.
I would also add HBO's Euphoria as the representative for the current early 2020s but since it is a series well, tough luck.
