Vanessa’s review published on Letterboxd:
While Scream has a perfect pace, it’s sequel cannot stand up to it. It could have easily been 30 minutes shorter and also less predictable. Still, the suspense was there, with a nice twist at the end. The movie-in-the-movie decision, the ongoing jokes about sequels and Cotton’s return are also aspects I really enjoyed.
The biggest flaw revolves around Dewey, but that would spoil too much of the story. Other than that the character development was meaningful and I can’t wait to rewatch the last two movies of the franchise.
