and that concludes my marvel movie marathon...for now.
it’s come to my attention that people don’t like this movie. literally what reason could you possibly you have for not liking this cinematic masterpiece? i’ll admit the middle kind of drags on for me because i’d known from the beginning that Quentin would betray Peter. but as soon as Peter himself figures that out, the film gets really really good. the CGI is phenomenal, Jake Gyllenhaal plays the perfect villain, and once again we’re reminded of how talented of an actor Tom Holland is. A lot of the side characters get moments to shine in this sequel, especially Zendaya’s MJ. It also still keeps elements of its previous movie as a charming coming of age story while further pushing Peter to take his next steps as a hero, a hero in a world without Iron Man. I’m also a firm believer that the Spider-Man films have the best ending credit sequences in the MCU. Seriously, how can you not like this movie???
