Dunkirk has single handedly restored my faith in Christopher Nolans' cinematic prowess after the middling conclusion to his Bat trilogy and less than stellar Interstellar. The last time I felt my breathing stop and chest tighten during a film was Gravity. The opening and closing images are some of the most majestic and painterly of Nolan's career. Also, Han Zimmer's best score in ages. Unmissable.
