Honestly, as a concept, it’s a unique mishmash of horror mixed with coming-of-age: the newfound scares of puberty colliding with the lack of sexual education. Sure it’s weird, but dats just horror baby.
BUT, the complete lack of self awareness combined with the ridiculous technical direction made Teeth unintentionally hilarious.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t entertained by its poor handling, but WHY to ALL of it.
This had promise, but almost immediately you find out what you’re in for.
It’s like, if Carrie White’s superpower was abstinence, and teeth in her vagina.
