Varghese Eapen’s review published on Letterboxd :
On the surface level one might think either Intouchables or even The Diving Bell and The Butterfly but this gem from the early 90s was a surprise. It's great to see a film with well rounded characters who have depth in them. The humor has a nasty bite but at the same time has a feeling of warmth to it. Legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins gives a picturesque experience of the country side. I loved how the over melodramatic world of day time soap opera is depicted in various ways.
