    2/Duo is a dream debut by Nobuhiro Suwa. If you go blindly then you can't even guess that it's a debut film by an indie filmmaker. The shots composition, the camera movements, story development, dialogues, and long takes- all perfectly line up for an almost perfect film.

    The Disciple


    "There's a reason why Indian classical music is considered an Eternal Quest."

    Watching The Disciple was such a soothing experience. It's a sad story for the most part but that's what makes it realistic and adding classical music just made the experience to another level. The transitions from present to past at specific moments were beautifully conveyed to us by the director Chaitanya Tamhane. A slow burner with a climax which we might have not anticipated at the start and very tangible performances by the leads- one of the best musicals from India.
