Parte del "Ciclo 3: Miradas sobre la conquista de México"; Fiestas del Pitic
This film is a masterpiece, everything that it constitutes is marvelous, from every alegory that conveys the amazing feeling of freedom by doing what you love, to the representation of being tormented by the same reason.
Technically speaking, The Red Shoes is a deligh to the eye, not only due to the colors poping everywhere, but thanks to the amazing composition of tons of frames and scenes -that were perfectly crafted-. Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger were complete geniuses.
The silence surrounding the film was translated with the loudest actions that could be written in a script, and that only could be directed by no one but Bergman himself with such erotic images and adult-related situations, all combined with the curiosity and innocence of a kid.
This man truly could not miss at delivering another masterpiece, didn't he?
