being the second film i caught on the day and having caught it hungry at 1130am, burning felt almost too long and drawn out for me. thankfully, i stuck through the long intense period of nothingness before being delivered a platter of unanswered questions that kept me so intrigued.
my favourite moment has to be that david lynch-esque scene where hae-mi dances against the setting sun. other than that, the story revolving around the greenhouse metaphor was seemingly too obvious. what i loved about the film was the fact that jong-soo was a writer, potentially making this film the happy ending he wanted to write for hae-mi. launching into question the truthfulness of portrayed reality.
