Classical Period 2018
The main reason I watched Classical Period (2018) was that its running time was 60 minutes and it was available to stream on Mubi. The Outfit 2022
Solid, satisfying neo-noir thriller that feels like it was based on a play, set within the interiors of a suit shop and with a great central performance by Mark Rylance. Definitely has “we shot this in London but are pretending it’s 1950s Chicago” with some of the American accents the UK cast members provide. Some of the actors I felt were like the fourth or fifth choice, and were not exactly on Rylance’s level (O’Brien, Flynn). Ever since his scenery-chewing performance in Bones And All, I’ve turned a corner and am all in on Rylance now. Streamed on Netflix.
