i’m going to be so late watching all the marvel films coming out after their theatrical release but who cares.
i can see why eternals received mixed reviews. it wasn’t bad, there were just some misses.
the pacing was off but the film didn’t seem draggy considering the length.
the writing wasn’t that great. the story didn’t flow as much i was hoping it would.
time allotments didn’t allow equal amounts of screentime for each character so it was hard for me to get attached to any of them.
on the flip side, i really loved thena, sersi, phastos, druig & makkari. i loved druig and makkari. their chemistry was so electric. the sexual tension between them, wow.
the visuals were insane. the cinematography and visual effects were mesmerizing.
i already got spoiled before i watched the film knowing harry styles entered the mcu as eros. gotta say the post credits scene wasn’t as exciting as i thought it would be.
nonetheless, i’m interested to see where the story goes next.
