opposite of most survivor thrillers like this, the opening act is the best. loved the climb. wish the whole movie was just them climbing. glorified Cameo from #JDM made for a nice scene outside the bar with the daughter having been sad for 51 weeks. confusion with the voicemail system but still a powerful portrait of a lover tumbling to their death in the opening. #JDM

Day Shift 2022
Competently staged gunfight choreography, Scott Adkins kicking vampire heads off, drone camerawork-aided LA car chases, Dave Franco in a drug rug, Natasha Liu Bordizzo being hot, Hawaiian shirts - obviously I enjoyed this (clunky as most of the dialogue and world-building is). Of the John Wick hand-me-downs, you can do a lot worse - I'll happily take this over your Bullet Trains, Extractions and Gray Mans.
Wild that Jamie is 4 years older than Snoop
