Not bad for a TV movie. Read the book and thought this was a solid adaptation (as many others have pointed out).
Being an Asian immigrant in the US myself, I connected with this film on a more visceral level compared to Nomadland, which I watched the day before. I do like the parallels between the two in that both films portray the pursuit of the American Dream from different perspectives.
