Victor Dubyna’s review published on Letterboxd:
Burning moves at a slow but irresistibly compelling pace. It remains ambiguous throughout and offers no clear answers, but this is precisely what makes the experience so damn interesting, entrancing and gripping. If you'd ask me for my interpretation on what happened, I wouldn't know what to tell you, but I would gladly watch this equally equivocal and and absorbing film again, even if it still ceased to give me any answers (in fact, this is preferred). Beautiful cinematography, an awesome score and some great performances, especially from Steven Yeun. Burning manages to be thrilling, fascinatingly ambiguous, and downright mesmerizing for most of its run time. Amazing film!
