As simplistic as it gets, it will be another post-modern horror movie in which something shocking happens at the beginning, something gruesome happens in the end and there are 2 hours of nothing filling in the core of the movie. Then to pretend it's a good movie you just create a haunting concept and beautiful aesthetics that some people will swear it's the new "Rosemary's baby" . That's the same formula of "Hereditary" and "The Witch" and apparently they could manage to fool a lot of people with these tricks. Why not do it again? The producers are smart.
Some scenes intended to be scary but actually made me laugh. Poorly constructed characters. Predictable ending. If they don't make real changes to the screenplay, I doubt this movie will be praised by the audience.
