Film #14 of Hooptober Cinco
"I change my cars as regularly as a snake sheds its skin."
A weird, wonderful celluloid acid trip. So many seeming non-sequiters that add up to so much horrible fun. Quality performances from young versions of fine British actors make the absurd... well, still absurd, but talentedly so. I can't say it's not a unique form of vampirism. One wonders why this Stoker novel hasn't really been touched since - maybe the obscurity, or maybe because everyone knows this thing can't be duped.
