This wonderfully surreal ride opens with one of the most insane myths I've ever come across and only escalates from there. I absolutely see how this will not be for everyone, but I was totally engrossed start to finish. Between the uncomfortable, awkward, sometimes genuinely creepy tone that laid over the whole thing and some surprisingly engaging visuals, this is absolutely a notch above what you would expect from made for TV movies. The goofier elements, like the yogurt puke…

Yet another talented indie filmmaker swallowed up by the Disney industrial complex to create a dull, lifeless entry in this increasingly labored Marvel Universe, this time exceptionally dull and exceptionally labored. It's an agonizing two and a half hours of people standing around talking about things they're going to do and explaining who they are. Every time I think "I should make more of an effort to keep up with new stuff, the stuff that's being talked about" I get punished for it. I get to see an overly long, dull as dishwater satire that is so bat-over-the-head blunt it lets dummies feel extremely smug about being the only ones who were able to "get it". Not only does this movie have nothing insightful or clever to say, its analogy of climate change to a…
