Quiet, suspenseful and terrifying. Ridley Scott crafts a beloved classic for the sci-fi genre. Though I prefer the sequel (Aliens) over this. It still had me on the edge of my seat. The pacing is maybe a bit slow for my taste and doesn’t hold much rewatch value like it’s successor. That’s just my opinion. I still appreciate it being a landmark gem in both the sci-fi and horror communities.
