If you're familiar with Rudy Ray Moore's Dolemite then that means you love to let loose and have fun with a movie. Like I've said before, Rudy made himself, a comedian, a hit record man and a movie star by the sheer power of his gigantic balls. Now we get to see how. Craig Brewer's direction is on point, energetic, precise. The script by Scott and Larry is funny and well written. They know a thing or two about biopic flicks. All the cast has their great moments to shine. Special mention to another great comeback role with Wesley Snipes as effete, pretentious actor/director D'Urville Martin. Then there's Eddie in a gem of a performance. A triumphant performance, really. Netflix scores again.
