Michael Scott’s review published on Letterboxd:
As much as I loved him in Boogie Nights and Punch Drunk Love, as much as I adored The Big Lebowski, as much as he blew me away in Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, I could think of no more fitting memorial to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman than this cinematic Mandelbrot. A sad, sad film that eventually celebrates everyone's utter ordinariness. Self-exploration as art as life. He did that for a living and he'll long be remembered for it now he's gone.
