Natalie Ng’s review published on Letterboxd:
I mean, I get the criticisms but I also know what I was getting into. It's a stunning piece of art, and part of the beauty of anyone with some sort of knowledge in art and illustration history to piece together all the styles and eras influenced or referenced which feeds into the symbolism and message of the film and its universality.... BUT someone really needed to have cut out that coda. The ending and final images are really powerful as is, the coda was so unnecessary.
