Sadly, it’s racist a lot of times. Read more on it here. Wachowskis trying to push post-racial narrative they also had in their previous movies, whereas they have no right to speak about that as white women. What is missing from their previous work, weirdly, is their anti-authoritarian stance.
Why the fuck did they make a cop one of its central characters? And how much of screen time is spend on empathising with his cop…
This is not a heist or a chase movie, this is a war movie. It shows how any technological advancement of US military industrial complex to wage wars abroad will be inevitably used to suppress its own citizens. Why the fuck LA police has snipers on payroll? The reach of the US police state is horrifying.
