Dana’s review published on Letterboxd:
this film is a direct appeal to those apolitical types, those that 'try to make the best of what we've got', those that 'see both sides of the argument'. never has a film made by two teenagers & released in 1964 been more pertinent than today, when the rise of neo-fascism threatens us once again. do not get caught in the crossroads. do not dismiss claims of 'all lives matter', anti-refugee and anti-protest views as harmless and non-reactionary. these opinions have roots, and the tree is rotten.
